First Baptist Church Shelbyville, IL

Pastor Yankee is originally from Traverse City, Michigan. He attended college at Faith Baptist Bible College & Theological Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa. It was there he met his wife, Lori. She is from Bondurant, Iowa. They both graduated from Faith in 1986 and were married in October of 1986.

 

Their first ministry was in Bridgeton, Missouri, at Faith Baptist Church, where he served as Youth/Associate Pastor from 1987 – 1999. They moved to Ludington, Michigan to Calvary Baptist Church in 1999.  Pastor Tim served as Pastor from 1999 – 2015. They moved here to Shelbyville, Illinois, to pastor First Baptist Church in October 2015.

 

The Yankees have 3 married children - Daughter Lindsay & husband Josh Palma live in Pana, Illinois.  Daughter Hannah & husband Elliot Plummer live in Ludington, Michigan.  Their son Andrew and his wife Kayela also live in Ludington, Michigan.

 

The Yankees also have six grandkids and a pet dachshund named Max!
